We are proud to be one of the very few tree professionals that employs Certified Arborists (CA). CAs must have experience in arboriculture and pass an examination that is developed by a panel of experts from the International Society of Arborists. 

This exam assesses thorough competency in and knowledge of the six domains of tree care practices: tree biology; identification and selection; installation and establishment; soil management; pruning, diagnosis, tree protection; and tree risk management. A CA must take continuing education credits in order to maintain certification and keep abreast of new technologies.

A Consulting Arborist faces advisement in the most challenging situations that require experience in the arboriculture science and culture and display expertise in the practical, ethical and objective role of consultant.

Quite often an Arborist will assist law firms, insurance companies, utilities, land developers, municipalities, landscape planners and architects, homeowners, individuals and organizations coping with disaster mitigation, and others requiring authoritative knowledge and perspective on trees and plant life.

Depending on the type of consultation needed, there will be an hourly or initial consultation fee for this type of onsite service. However, the initial consulation fee may be waived if you accept the services proposed by our staff member prior to their departure from your premise.
